In all honesty, it does take a lot to impress me with female-fronted metal, but Katharsis has pretty much blown my mind. This is an album you absolutely must have in your life. Great songwriting, the best set of choruses of the year so far, great vocals … fantastic. 'Katharsis' is probably one of the biggest positive surprises from our blue and white neighbors this year. An album you must check out!! The mix of styles that Shear delivers on Katharsis simply amazing, as they manage to sound comfortable and at home no matter the tone or tempo. | |||
